01 Who we are
Ask Redline is an automated SMS/MMS assistant operated by Redline Monitoring Services Inc. ("Redline", "we") on behalf of homeowners associations (each, an "HOA"). Residents interact with the assistant by texting their community's dedicated number.
02 Information we collect
We collect the mobile phone number you text from, the content of your messages (including any photos you send via MMS), and information your HOA provides in its resident roster (such as name and unit). We also generate records of conversations, requests you submit (e.g., maintenance requests, RSVPs), and system logs.
03 How we use your information
We use your information to identify you to your HOA, answer questions from your community's documents, process intake requests, route matters to a human when needed, and maintain records for the HOA. Messages may be processed by AI models solely to generate a response; your text is treated as data, never used to train third-party models.
04 SMS consent & opt-out (TCPA)
By texting the community number or completing verification, you consent to receive automated text messages related to your community. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We honor opt-out requests promptly and do not sell your phone number.
05 Data sharing & tenant isolation
Your conversations are visible only to the authorized administrators of your own HOA. We enforce strict separation between communities — one HOA can never access another's data. We do not sell personal information. We use vetted service providers (e.g., messaging carrier, cloud AI, hosting) only to operate the service.
06 Identity verification
Before sharing any account-specific information, we verify your identity (for example, unit number plus last name and a one-time code). This protects residents' personal information.
07 Data retention & deletion
We retain conversation and request records for as long as your HOA requires them for community administration, subject to configurable retention periods. You may request deletion of your data by contacting your HOA administrator or Redline at the address below; we will honor applicable legal requirements.
08 Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to authorized personnel.
09 Children
The service is intended for adult residents and is not directed to children under 13.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
